Turbulence

I wrote this on a train to Hasselt, on Easter Day 2024. An artist friend had asked me to add to a collection he was making. I did not know it would be printed.

The black cover of Turbulence, its title in red, lying on handwritten pages

I am Harshit. For the last 3-4 years I feel I changed. I changed to what?Who am I?

What changed me? Do I like the change? Can I change it?For whom I changed?

For me, For my family? For my friends or for my work?

When does a change happens? How does it happen? Is it natural, smooth, linear, parallel, planned, or spontaneous? Or is it Turbulent, extremes, everything at once, all or nothing?

Do we want it? Yes or No! Is change good? Yes or No!

What does this change offer? An opportunity to be real, to be genuine? YES!Who decides that? Me!

Who am I? Aham Bhramaashmi! What changed me? Turbulent changes! For whom I changed? For myself! Is it easier, better or worse? Doesn’t matter, its Me. I am easier, better and worse!

So where is my love, where is my family, where is my money, where is my power, where is my strength, and where are my desires?

Where is me? Where is Harshit? Is he lost? Is he found? Is he loved or is he frowned? Is he turbulent or pretty calm down!

Be yourself! Be yourself! That’s what I knowBut how to be yourself, that’s what I didn’t know!

Kept asking,kept pondering, kept wandering!

Until I found an art that caused me some turmoil. With devil as a faceIt was sad, It was cryingCrying for whom?

Crying for fakeness! As it says:“Falsehood is the sorrow of the universe”

And then it hit me, if I am:‘Aham BhrahmAsmi’The collective conciousness of the universe,‘The Universe’

Then if I fake,I cry!Harshit cries!

My Universe cries! My loved ones cries,

So, I made it easy for myselfEmbracing turbulances, welcoming real-selfHalf broken, Non-perfectStill better, 70 %Focussed on I, me and myself

Self-discipline, and IntrospectSelf-care and self-respectSelf-reliant and No complainscome what come may

Life is easy, life is difficultLife is a Helix not a circle

Good days, bad days, doesnt matter!Right or wrong, doesnt even matter!

Time is limited, maybe not in divinePresent is a present, a porcupineNicht past regrets, Nicht future gloriesMy soul breathes air and that’s holy moly!

Death is a milestoneDeath is a realityNoone gonna stay ever but Ibut who is I?

Is it me, or is it minewho is mine? and what is mine?Don’t know, with little careI surrender, I surrenderand then who do I surrenderto me, to I or to mine?

I know some answers,I don’t need to know it allLife is easy, Life is turbulentI acknowledge itI accept itI embrace it, that’s all!

Embrace my scars, as a real honorAs a glory, I wear my thick skinNeither right choices nor wrong choicesMy choices and My free will.
